]]> Chariots of Fire (1981) เกียรติยศแห่งชัยชนะ ภาพยนตร์สร้างมาจากเรื่องจริงของนักกรีฑา 2 คน ที่ชื่อ ฮาโรลด์ อับราฮัมส์ และ เอริค ลิดเดล ทั้งคู่สามารถคว้าเหรียญทองให้แก่สหราชอาณาจักรได้ ประเด็นสำคัญในเรื่องคือ ฮาโรลด์ อับราฮัมส์มีเชื้อสายยิว จึงเกิดเป็นปมด้อย รู้สึกเป็นคนนอก ถูกผู้คนรอบข้างเฝ้ามองด้วยสายตาหมิ่นเหยียดหยามอยู่ตลอดเวลา เป้าหมายสูงสุดคือการได้เหรียญทองโอลิมปิก จึงเป็นมากยิ่งกว่าแค่แข่งขันกีฬาตามปกติ ส่วนเอริค ลิดเดล เขาเป็นชาวสก็อตแลนด์ เกิดในครอบครัวหมอสอนศาสนา มีจุดมุ่งหมายในชีวิตเด่นชัดว่า พร้อมอุทิศตนทุ่มเทเพื่อรับใช้พระเจ้า แต่ความสามารถพิเศษในด้านการวิ่ง ทำให้เขาโดดเด่นอีกทาง ทั้งยังต้องขัดแย้งกับน้องสาวผู้เคร่งศาสนา สุดท้าย จุดหมายสูงสุดของเขา ไม่ได้วิ่งเพื่อเหรียญทองหรือชัยชนะใด ๆ แต่เป็นการวิ่งเพื่อนำเกียรติยศมาสู่พระเจ้าที่เขาเคารพศรัทธา
